Built with high-quality NAND flash, industrial-grade memory cards are very robust and durable, which makes them ideal for industrial applications.
Long-term availability & fixed BOM: industrial memory cards have a much longer product life cycle than commercial cards. In addition to that, product discontinuations or changes are announced well in advance. As is usual with industrial products, memory cards also have a fixed BOM (Bill Of Material), which means that the components built in the device are clearly defined, and users always receive exactly the same product when ordering a specific part number.
Write and Erase cycles
Our industrial memory cards stand out with their long service life (endurance).
Cards with SLC in particular are very durable. Cards using pSLC technology also have a high number of possible write/erase cycles.
Thanks to special NAND selection processes, our industrial memory cards with TLC NAND flash have an increased service life compared to traditional TLC products.
Write Speed
Industrial applications sometimes require a high read or write speed. For this type of application, we offer memory cards with particularly high transfer speeds. For SD or microSD cards, the standard as well as UHS speed classes are usually exceeded. We also have the right solution for other form factors you might require, such as CFast, CFexpress or CompactFlash.
Power Loss Protector
In order to protect data integrity in the event of sudden power loss, we offer memory cards with Power Loss Protector.
The hardware-based PLP is available for CFast, CompactFlash and CFexpress. The card itself then provides sufficient power to complete the last write process properly thanks to small built-in capacitors.
Firmware-based power loss protection is implemented for the smaller form factors (SD, microSD).
